[ Tech had never been Lucifer's biggest fan, in spite of Emmanuel trying to talk him up a bit -- but right now he's the best and only option for something that's relatively insignificant in the grand scheme of things. He's got the power to make it happen. So Tech bites back his pride (such a dreadful, sinful thing) and makes contact. ]

look, let's cut to the chase. i don't like you, you don't like me. but i need a favor, and i've endured my fair share of bullshit here for almost a year without asking for anything in return.

[While Rorschach doesn't particularly want to cooperate with the king of hell, the father of lies, etcetera, he's not arrogant enough to think he'd be able to take on a demon lord by himself. For the moment, his desire to kill Mammon is a little more prominent than his wariness of Lucifer, and it probably helps that he'd be equally as wary of figures with a better reputation. Equal opportunity paranoia. It's easier to ally with the devil when you don't have religious loyalties to worry about.

So he approaches Lucifer with a collection of notes containing some of the worst handwriting known to man. It's all squished together, letters inappropriately capitalised, but with a little effort, it's legible enough. Considering he's barely slept since this whole thing started, it being legible at all is an achievement.]

[Here it is, and an awful lot of it too. Just pages and pages of him describing the going-ons in the hospital, sometimes with flowery prose. He gets a little intense with the descriptions of the organ harvesting and sex-based therapies ('-Nurses mouth looked like sickle blade. Organs pulsed, gleaming wetly under the synthetic light-'; '-writhing, stuck pig. Bed creaking like something haunted-'), and there's a map tucked between the pages that has the locations of all the activities carefully marked.

He holds the notes out to Lucifer.]

Assume this will be enough for the next step. [Which he's ever so patiently waiting for Lucifer to divulge (which is to say, not patiently at all).]

[Fortunately, Belladonna seems to have been able to keep her wits about her in the wake of this new wrinkle. If she's forgotten anything, it isn't enough to overall change her understanding of the community at large and her place within it. The goings-on have been troubling to witness. This is something Belladonna's thought about before, even brought up tentatively with Lilith some time ago, but has overall held her tongue out of reverence.

How, it feels like she has to say something. At least offer, otherwise she'd feel that she's been doing herself an overall disservice. So, she prays, speaking Lucifer's name and hoping that he'll have the energy and time to answer. It feels somewhat silly, talking to an empty room...but she supposes it isn't the first time she's done so.]
