just until we can figure out how to save him and everyone else.

but mammon didn't take anything from me for it. it was really weird. i insisted i'd pay, but he said it wasn't necessary.

The gates always need guards, of course. You are free to take up shifts there. Otherwise, the animals could use a watchful eye... they do tend to enjoy taking them for whatever twisted spells they concoct.
